Recap Week 43
U20 Six Nations
Played three games here, got two right and the Wales v Scotland game wrong, Wales hammered them like their adult couterparts, I did not see that coming.
Small profit of 0.18 units
Got some teams right and others like USA, Argentina & France completely wrong, other mates of mine that punt rugby called this weekend a blood bath, no surpirse there, it was tough. Well done to Chucky Stanard for having the composure and brains to cleverly select a penalty kick to close out the Bronze medal match, I reckon that is the only penalty we have had this series!!
Horrible loss of 8.65 units
Well done to Wales, they smashed a panic stricken Scottish team after such a good start, I have in my punting years seen a number of teams not come back form a 14 zip start, my biggest loss in rugby came to the same Scottish team back in 2013 when they could not overcome a 14 – 3 start, it appears things have not changed!!
The luck of the Irish is a common saying, no better than late on Saturday night in a packed Stade de France when Johnny Sexton launched an absolute stunning drop goal of around 40m to steal the win, after the French had scored the only try of the match and looked set to not only beat the plus but also grab an unlikely victory.
Italy gave me exactly what I expected, to stay in it for around 50 mins and then falter, no surprise whatsoever and England landed the minus like good things, this game minus punters were never worried.
Loss of 2.1 units
