This week I have moved ever so slightly away from the 9/10’s and have instead looked for a bit of value, this will hopefully be a winning trend I intend on keeping up, a good rugby punter mate of mine in NZ suggested that I should start to look for a bit of value and see if I can use my skills at finding decent prices about bigger minuses or lower pluses as I tend to be getting it right more than not and when I do I seem to be getting it properly right, so here goes!! It is uncharted territory for me, but I do believe I am on to something. This week I spend a reasonable 13.5 units, but if I crack it, it could well be profitable.
For those who love moaning about Referees, you should have lots to shout about this week, with seven fixtures on the cards there are no less than six NZ referees, now they say it is on merit, but 85% stinks of bias, ha ha I knew you would like that, not a single Zaffa ref or an Aussie ref, the seventh spot goes to what most have called a dodgy call Frederico Anselmi, who I and a couple of my mates call Smiley, simply because he NEVER EVER SMILES!!
Due to lots of calls about where I finally place my bets, this week I have decided to include a link to the bookies that I have got on with and hopefully you can too.
Don’t forget you can join my VIP Whats App group for early calls on a Tuesday and my feelings and the others on the group about Game Time and HT calls.
If you do not have a betting account and want to join in on the action, don’t forget to visit my Bookies page where all the subscribing bookies are represented.

Bring on the 14th Round of Super Rugby 2018
Super Rugby Round 14
Hurricanes v Reds
Ok so this got me thinking, I said on my VIP Whats app group that I was on the fence here, I certainly am, I managed to get -27.5 albeit at 0.88 on the Canes, I believe since Barrett is not missing much and the Reds are crap right now that the Hurricanes should overcome this rather large handicap. It is sitting at #39Zip at the moment and it will go to forty once the Waratahs take on the Highlanders. Call: Hurricanes -27.5 at 0.88 for a unit. (Pinnacle)
Kick off is scheduled for 09h35 GMT +2 on Friday in Wellington. The referee for this game will be Ben O’Keefe (NZ), Click here for the Weather in Wellington and if you want to follow the game on Twitter click here for the Hastag #HURvRED
Sunwolves v Stormers
This is my second biggest play for the week, my play is split over three different prices at three different bookies, I have nothing for the Stormers, in fact this play is all Sunwolves, they have played ok and I have done alright calling them, especially last week, I feel the bookies have disrespected them here and it should be punished. The only thing stopping me from going Max is that they are playing in Hong Kong, not quite Singapore or Tokyo for that Matter, but I am still very interested!! Call: Sunwolves -12.5 at 11/1 for 0.5 units (Boyle Sports) – Sunwolves on the board at 3.4/1 for 1 unit (Morris Vee) & Sunwolves +10.5 for 3 units (Hollywood)
Kick off is scheduled for 07h15 GMT +2 on Saturday in Hong Kong. The referee for this game will be Nic Berry (NZ), Click here for the Weather in Hong Kong and if you want to follow the game on Twitter click here for the Hastag #SUNvSTO
Blues v Crusaders
Here again I was on the fence, over the last two days I have decided to stay clear of the 9/10 handicap line and have a relatively bold play, I was torn between the 4/1 Blues on the Board and an even bolder -20.5 Crusaders at 5/2, I went with the latter at a reasonable price. I honestly do not think this game will be anywhere near the line in fact it will be over ten away, either a Blues win or a Crusaders smashing. Call: Crusaders -20.5 at 5/2 for a unit (WSB)
Kick off is scheduled for 09h35 GMT +2 on Saturday in Auckland. The referee for this game will be Glen Jackson (NZ), Click here for the Weather in Auckland and if you want to follow the game on Twitter click here for the Hastag #BLUvCRU
Waratahs v Highlanders
By the time this game gets underway it should be #FortyZip and I do believe that at 19/10 the Waratahs are worth backing, two weeks ago I had a big play on them at the minus v Blues and to everyone’s surprise they failed dismally, this week I do feel they have a chance especially after last week’s performance. Call: Waratahs on the board at 19/10 for a unit (Morris Vee)
Kick off is scheduled for 11h40 GMT +2 on Saturday in Sydney. The referee for this game will be Brendon Pickerill (NZ), Click here for the Weather in Sydney and if you want to follow the game on Twitter click here for the Hastag #WARvHIG
Sharks v Chiefs
There has been much hype here on the team selection of the Chiefs, I am going against the grain here, I am not buying what everyone is selling, in my opinion there is no such thing as a bad NZ team, the Chiefs are not the Blues and the Chiefs have done ok v Sharks in Durban, this play, again I say is against the grain, is for the Chiefs to win on the board purely on price, quite frankly the Sharks can win by thirty and they can win without my money, I am not interested in taking Sharks minus v Chiefs at current or even Monday levels. Call: Chiefs on the board at 2.95 for half a unit (Morris Vee)
Kick off is scheduled for 15h05 GMT +2 on Saturday at King’s Park. The referee for this game will be Mike Fraser (NZ), Click here for the Weather in Durban and if you want to follow the game on Twitter click here for the Hastag #SHAvCHI
Lions v Brumbies
This is a fixture the Lions can really capitalise on, the Brumbies are super crap at the moment, I cannot see anything changing anytime soon, so for that reason I have again sought out a bigger handicap at a great price, I believe that the Lions will target a bonus point here with the Jaguares, Bulls & Sharks breathing down their necks, this is a golden opportunity for them to pull away even before the starting whistle in Buenos Aires hails. Call: Lions -25.5 at 1 unit (WSB)
Kick off is scheduled for 17h15 GMT +2 on Saturday at Ellis Park. The referee for this game will be Nick Briant (NZ), Click here for the Weather in Johannesburg and if you want to follow the game on Twitter click here for the Hastag #LIOvBRU
Jaguares v Bulls
This is a special price about a special team on the brink of history, they have won four tour games on the trot and are fresh from a break, the crowd should be in town as the Jaguares have finally given their fans something to shout about, also the first time in three years they have a real shot at the playoffs, unbelievably the bookies again have shown almost ZERO respect for them, unlike last year where I could not call a game correctly, this year I am flying on the Jaguares and this game should be no different. This is my BEST BET OF THE WEEK. Call: Jaguares -3.5 at 3 units (GameBet) & Jaguares -11.5 at 18/10 for 2 units (BoyleSports)
