I am pleased to say this weekend offers a plethora of rugby of which to enjoy and of course grab a few winning bets!
We have the first round of the Currie Cup, ITM, ProD2 and The Rugby Championship.
So plenty of options to find some value and to keep you on the edge of your couch or like me this weekend, on the edge of the stadium seating.
Best Bet: Pumas to beat Griquas (5.5/10)
This will be a very tightly contested game with both teams having a tightly contested record.
The Pumas however for my liking have to much quality in their side and home advantage is a big factor here.
The half back pairing for me is the decider as well. Ungerer in particular seems to make the Pumas side run like a well oiled machine when he’s there’s.
Value Bet: New Zealand to win (1-12)
In what should be a cracker of a fixture and I think could be the Aussies most competitive game with the Kiwi’s yet, I still fancy an All Black win.
With it being in Sydney, Australia, they will come close but All Blacks class will shine through. Since I like the Al Blacks I feel there is a bot more value in taking the All Blacks 1 – 12 instead of taking the Australia plus
New Zealand have fielded a powerful side but something to consider is David Pocock. He will be a menace at the Breakdown.
For those of you who have been following me for a awhile and have not yet seen my Matchday 23 for the Springboks, have a look and all comments are welcome:
