Final Whistle #35
What a weekend that proved to be! My tips may not have arrived but it was well worth flattening my wallet to watch the Springboks get one over the All Blacks in New Zealand for the first time since a certain podgy scrum-half scored a magnificent solo try back in 2009.
I’ve actually been following a lot of Aviva Premiership over the past few weeks. Most of the kick-off times are in the afternoon in the UK so it generally lines up with a 9 PM kick off time in South East Asia.
The one thing I have noticed this season is that the scorelines have been rather large. The last two games Wasps have played have seen the sides go into the sheds with the halftime total points in excess of 41. I’ve had two strikes on this market in-play at absurd odds – I got the halftime spread at over 41 in the Wasps v Leicester game at something stupid like 20/1 last week.
These markets are well worth following if you’re looking to enjoy a game and only want to invest a minuscule sum while having a chance at claiming a tidy profit. Don’t be foolish though, do your homework and look for sides who like to run it like Leicester and Wasps or sides who are completely dominant like Saracens and Exeter when betting on these markets.
I generally take the spreads in-running with Hollywoodbets but you can find them ante-post through other bookies. I know Interbet used to offer them quite often and I’m sure the likes of Sunbet will do as well.
This Weekend’s Tips
- Cheetahs Win v Ulster 56/19 (PRO14)
- Agen 20/1 to beat Toulon and Agen +28.5 v Toulon (1/4 Unit on the Win & 2 Units on the plus)
