Wales v Australia
Michael Cheika is Still Employed!
Wales v Australia, 2008 the last time Wales won at home v the Wallabies. I have to say this is about the Aussies, Cheika is still employed? I am blown away that the Wallabies continue to pay this chap. He got them to a Final in the last world cup, but seriously what else has he done?
If there is a bogie team for Wales it is most certainly the Aussies. But such is the bad form that Australia are in this should be a walk in the park. Wales albeit in a friendly dead rubber last week showed they are ready for the End of Year Tours.
Welsh are Runners
I am of the opinion that a weak Welsh team should put this lot away. The Australian team is good on paper, but there is a deep rooted problem no rugby expert pundit has been able to dissect so far in 2018. For Australia to win in Cardiff they will need to find something they have not found all year.
Last win for Australia was away in Argentina, faced with an unbelievably difficult task of a comeback they managed the impossible. Some of you out there will suggest it was not impossible, but I disagree? What happened in Salta was extraordinary, a feat that has not been witnessed by me in my rugby punting lifetime.
A few weeks later Australia fronted up against the All Blacks and were again dealt a rugby lesson in Japan. Australia are about to fall apart. My suggestion here is if you like Australia, have a friendly bet with your mate on the couch. Do not under any circumstances part with any cash on these Wallabies, not until Cheika is shown the door.
When and I say when, because it seems it is still a long way away, Australia finally tank this coach will they start to play like Australia should be playing, competitively.
I will continue to oppose Australia and this week will be no different. I have gone with my biggest play this week with the Welsh, taking a minus above what most may go, at a decent price. Not quite five units but pretty close!!
